Europe for All
At a glance
The EuropeforAll.com (EfA) service provides online information to tourists about the accessibility of venues and accommodation in European countries. The service was developed for the tourism industry and visitors by EWORX S.A. with 10 transnational partners through the eContent project, OSSATE (www.ossate.org).
EfA serves the needs of more than 127 Million people in Europe (plus many millions of overseas visitors) who have particular accessibility requirements when travelling. Site users typically include disabled people, older people and others with temporary impairments, as well as travel agents and tour operators who require access information for their clients.
The portal allows hotel and venue owners to assess the accessibility of their premises and services and publish the key details, including photos, to the website. In addition, the EfA database is updated by XML data feeds to/from national, regional or city agencies, providing an additional online channel for re-distribution of their access data, gathered using the EfA standard questionnaires.
Professional auditing services are also available locally, using EfA standard instruments, for independent authentication and publication of access information.
Access data covering more than 1,000 venues enables potential visitors to judge for themselves the quality of the access before booking or choosing their destination.
EfA is managed by EWORX S.A.
