European Network for Accessible Tourism

European Network for Accessible Tourism, a non-profit association registered in Belgium, which seeks to promote better access for tourists in European countries.

The website provides general information on accessible tourism and dedicated services for the ENAT members, (totalling more than 450 members in 57 countries on 1 May 2008). The web navigation and content is accessible for disabled users, meeting the Level A requirements of the WAI Guidelines.

ENAT was established by a consortium of travel and accessibility specialists with the help of an EU grant in the period 2006-2007.

The website was built and is maintained using the EWORX Content Management System, TOOLIP®. This CMS allows content managers in remote locations to add and update pages in 3 languages. New language editions of the site, including German, Spanish, Swedish and Dutch, are planned.

The ENAT Secretariat is located at the offices of EWORX S.A., Greece.

Mr. Spyros Michailidis, Managing Director of EWORX, is a Vice-President of ENAT.
